What: 12th Annual Steppin' Out in Pink walk for local breast cancer research & services
Who: Everyone! Over 6100 walkers, from 23 states and 300 zip codes participated in 2016
Why: Proceeds raised help to further local breast cancer initiatives at Gundersen Medical Foundation, provide assistance to breast cancer patients in need, subsidize mammograms to the uninsured and underinsured in our region and lend support to the services of the Center for Cancer & Blood Disorders and Norma J. Vinger Center for Breast Care

Nominees being accepted for the annual Paula J. Tower Memorial Award
This award was established to honor Paula Tower's legacy and to remember the difference just one person can make. Every year, this award is given to one individual in the Coulee Region who has exemplified the selfless giving of time and energy to advance the message of hope for a future without breast cancer. The recipient will be announced on the main stage at Steppin' Out in Pink.
